An excellent plant for potting that can be pruned severely to make a gorgeous 'lollipop'. New leaves arrive in a reddish hue and change to green with aging. Choose a large pot with plenty of holes in the bottom. Use a good potting soil with generous handfuls of sand added to increase porosity.

Requires warm weather for best results. An excellent home garden eggplant.

Beautiful indigenous Calla Lillies, also known as Arum lilies are available in many stunning colours. The brightly coloured ones are referred to as tender Zantedeschias.  Spectacular when planted in mass in outdoor garden beds. Zantedeschias are often used in containers and also used as cut flowers. They have a long vase life and should not be cut with a knife but the stem should rather be pulled out of the plant. They prefer bright light and free draining soil. Consistent moisture is essential.
