Plant & Care

Plant in full sun to semi-shade, allowing plenty of space for the plant to develop. Water regularly while establishing, then reduce watering once established. Despite its common name, Wild Banana is not a true banana. Its enormous leaves and banana-like growth habit are responsible for the name, but it belongs to the Strelitzia family and is closely related to the famous Bird of Paradise plant, Strelitzia reginae.
