Petunia 'BeautiCal Rose Star'

A stunning Petchoa that brings vibrant colour and a beautiful star-patterned display to the garden. BeautiCal® Rose Star produces masses of eye-catching, rose-pink blooms beautifully marked with a contrasting star pattern. Its vigorous, floriferous and naturally self-cleaning habit makes it a wonderful choice for containers, hanging baskets, borders and sunny patio displays. The bright blooms create an instant focal point and pair beautifully with whites, purples, soft pinks and silvery foliage. Flowering is typically strongest through the warmer months in the Western Cape, with good colour possible over an extended season when plants receive plenty of sunlight, regular feeding and appropriate watering.

Planting & Care

Plant in full sun to semi-shade in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost. Water regularly while plants establish and during hot, dry weather, allowing the growing medium to drain between waterings rather than remaining constantly wet. Feed with a balanced flowering fertiliser during active growth, following the product label directions. The flowers are naturally self-cleaning, so routine deadheading is not necessary. Trim lightly only if needed to maintain a neat shape or encourage fresh growth.
