Toulouse is a compact growing fig tree, bearing small dark skinned sweet figs. The fruit can be eaten with the skin on. They are well-suited to warm, dry summers and mild, wet winters, exactly the climate of much of the Western Cape.
Full sun is essential: at least 6–8 hours per day, and prefers well-drained soil.
