Named for its large leaves that kept Adam's dignity intact in the Garden of Eden. Adam is a high quality fig variety with purplish black skin when ripe and strawberry coloured flesh. Extremely sweet and an old favourite. The tree is medium-sized with large leathery leaves. Leave the fruit on the tree to ripen. Prefers moist well-draining soil.
