Butterfly Bush 'Early White' produces masses of delicate white, star-shaped flowers on slender, well-branched stems. Its compact, upright habit creates a graceful display from spring through autumn, adding movement and long-lasting colour to the garden.
Growing to approximately 50cm high and wide, it thrives in full sun and is water-wise once established. Its neat growth makes it ideal for borders, containers, mass planting and landscaping.
Plant 35–40cm apart in well-drained soil in full sun. Water regularly while establishing, then reduce once established. Cut back after flowering to encourage fresh, fuller growth.
'Early White' was selected for its shorter flower stems and strong branching, giving it a fuller, more compact appearance than many traditional Gauras. This makes it particularly useful in containers and landscape plantings.
