An evergreen perennial, this plant is widely cultivated for it’s dramatic, colourful flowers and structural shape. The beautiful orange, blue and white flowering display can be admired during May to December.
Strelitzia is a bold structural plant that is wind resistant and grows well in coastal gardens too. Provided that they are given lots of bright light with some direct sun they can be successfully grown indoors. Feed with compost in early spring before new growth begins and then fertilize during the growing season. Indigenous.
