Plant in well-drained mix and position in sun or light semi-shade. Water regularly while establishing. During Cape Town's hot, dry summer they may require more frequent watering. Feed regularly during active growth and flowering with a well suited flowering fertilizer. Deadheading is not necessary, although a light trim can be useful if the plant becomes sparse or overly extende.
The Calibrachoa is closely related to Petunias, but it's smaller flowers and naturally trailing growth give it a distinctly different look. This makes it especially well suited to creating cascades in hanging baskets and containers.
