Geranium 'Top Gioia' is a regal pelargonium with large, beautiful lilac-purple flowers above attractive green foliage. Its bushy, upright habit creates a lovely display of colour, making it ideal for pots, containers and garden beds.
Growing to approximately 25cm high and 25cm wide, this evergreen variety performs well in sun to semi-shade and is water-wise once established. Its compact growth makes it an easy-care choice for patios, balconies and smaller garden spaces.
Plant in well-drained soil in sun to semi-shade. Water regularly while establishing, then allow the soil to dry slightly between watering. Remove faded flowers to encourage further blooms and keep the plant neat.
Regal pelargoniums are often called Martha Washington geraniums, although they belong to the genus Pelargonium rather than the true Geranium genus. Their large, showy flowers are one of their most distinctive features.
