Pelargonium ‘Turkana Light Pink’ is a free-flowering, compact and bushy pelargonium that brings a soft splash of colour to sunny gardens. It produces attractive light pink flowers above neat, dark green foliage, creating a cheerful display of seasonal colour in Cape Town gardens. Ideal for pots, containers, garden beds and borders, its compact growth habit makes it particularly useful for smaller spaces, patios and balconies. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil for the best flowering and growth.
Plant in well drained soil in a sunny spot for best flowering. Water regularly while establishing, then allow the soil to dry slightly between watering once established. Remove faded flowers from time to time to encourage further flowering and keep plant neat. Trim lightly where needed to maintain the compact shape.
Although commonly called Geraniums, they are Pelargoniums, a group of flowering plants with strong South African connections. The Turkana range is valued for its neat, compact habit and colourful flowers, making it especially well suited for containers and small garden spaces.
