Pachypodium Lamerei is a semi-deciduous succulent shrub or small tree with a thick spiny trunk, topped with a cluster of strappy green leaves. Easy to grow, but requires good drainage.  Mature plants (5 - 10 years old) will bear fragrant white flowers in Summer.

Planting & Care:

• Light: Thrives in full sun to bright indirect light. The more light it receives, the more vibrant the pink variegation becomes. Can tolerate partial shade but growth may slow.
• Watering: Allow soil to dry completely between waterings. Water deeply but infrequently - typically every 2-3 weeks in summer, monthly in winter. Overwatering is the main cause of failure with this plant.
• Soil: Must have excellent drainage. Use cactus/succulent potting mix or add perlite and coarse sand to regular potting soil (50/50 ratio).
• Feeding: Apply diluted liquid fertilizer (half strength) once in spring and once in mid-summer. Avoid feeding in winter.
• Pruning: Trim to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Always wear gloves when handling - the milky sap can irritate skin.
• Frost Protection: Move containers indoors or provide frost protection when temperatures drop below 5°C.

Important Safety Note

Like all Euphorbias, this plant produces a milky latex sap that can cause skin and eye irritation. Always wear gloves when pruning or handling, keep away from children and pets, and wash hands thoroughly after contact. The sap is toxic if ingested.

Ajuga Reptans is a mat-forming ground cover. Rainbow has striking foliage of bronze, green, cream, and pink, bringing texture and contrast to garden beds.  Bears spikes of tiny blue-violet flowers, attracting bees to the garden.
