Plant & Care

Plant in well-drained, compost-enriched soil in a sunny to semi-shaded position. Water regularly during the growing season, allowing the soil to drain well between watering. Feed with a balanced flowering fertiliser during the growing season to encourage vigorous growth and continued flowering.

When flowers fade, do not cut the flower stems. Instead, gently pull the entire flowering stem from the base. This encourages the plant to produce fresh shoots and promotes further flowering.

Did You Know?

The best way to encourage new flowers on Alstroemeria is to pull the entire spent flower stem from the base rather than cutting it. This helps stimulate new shoots and keeps the plant producing flowers for longer.
