An interesting evergreen succulent with trailing stems covered in overlapping blue-green leaves, resembling a braided tail. The waxy layer on the leaves protect the plant from the sun. Low maintenance and ideal for containers or hanging baskets. A very forgiving plant if you forget to water it - if the young leaves start shrivelling it is a reminder that it needs water. Also known as a donkey’s tail or beaver’s tail or burro’s tail. Also used as an indoor plant in a bright spot.
