The deciduous Almond Non Pareil tree produces nuts that are light brown, smooth and sweet, with a thin shell. The tree needs to be cross polinated to produce fruit, Peerless and Nu Plus are good cross polinators. Should bear fruit within 2-3 years. Maximum yield at 7 to 9 years. Flower buds open in Spring. Harvest in February to March. Almond trees grow well in any soil type. A deciduous tree.
