The Featherbush 'Bronze Haze' (Aulax cancellata) is native to the Eastern and Western Cape with spectacular bronze-colored foliage and yellow feathery flowers that bloom from spring to summer (November to February). Also known as 'Geelveer' in Afrikaans, this hardy indigenous fynbos creates beautiful textural contrast in water-wise gardens.
Growing Tips: Thrives in sandy, well-draining soil in full sun to partial shade. Very drought-tolerant once established and ideal for low maintenance, water-wise gardens. Requires minimal water and no fertilizer. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new growth.
