Incredibly versatile. Bougainvilleas are useful for screening a wall and can add a splash of colour in areas where there is a lot of paving or not much other garden interest. Great in pots with a simple V-shaped trellis for support. Packs a punch of colour in summer and nearly all year round. Enjoys hot, sunny conditions but afternoon sun is good. Flowers best with neglect so do not over-water, over-prune or over-feed.
