A low-maintenance evergreen mat-forming perennial with fleshy rounded leaves.  The leaves will turn from bright green with  burgundy edges to bronze-red in summer and bright red in autumn.  In summer clusters of small, ruby-red star-shaped flowers will form, inviting butterflies to the garden.  Drought tolerant and prefers well-drained soil.  Ideally used as groundcover, borders or even in hanging baskets.
