Cape Koi Aquarium offers a variety of services to assist the koi keeper, such as filter installations, pond consultations, and for the really busy koi enthusiast, pond maintenance. In store services include water quality checks and microscopic health checks.
In the interests of furthering the goals of promoting the hobby, Cape Koi Aquarium belongs to the South African Koi Keepers Society and the South African Koi Traders Association.
Although the main focus is koi, Cape Koi Aquarium boasts a large tropical fish section, which includes marines. There are also goldfish and aquarium plants. Plans are under way to expand the Cape Koi Aquarium, to include even more for the discerning aquarist. All accessories for aquariums, fresh, coldwater and marine, can be found at Cape Koi Aquarium.
